The World in 2050: Future Technology technology future

[on Mars,]” Pearson은 말했습니다.

  1. hyper-loop is a freaking joke. it will never happen. How thick will the tube walls have to be not to succumb to the atmospheric pressure and that will translate to very high ticket prices that would make the whole thing unpractical

  2. You can melt Sahara sand with plastic to get a building block which lasts 1000s years.. The shortage of sand. Under the peat in sutherland caithness thier trillions of tons of sand. The acid in the peat bog desolves the stone and turns it into perfect buildings sand.. Under the peat Scotland has the biggest dessert in Europe.. Mixing plastic with Sahara sand works to build its strong waterproof and lasts forever..

  3. I am very excited after viewing this video. I think human computer interaction and AI enabled machines will be developed. Also, life sciences and biology may advance with genome projects.

    Kindly reply

  4. If we're being honest with ourselves, we are ruining our ability to sustain humanity and probably won't be around very much longer past 2050 anyway. Why not address that?

  5. there are a lot of future technologies coming out ahead of 2 Elon Musk's projects 20 years to 50 years, I'm in pain investing in shares, calling for very cheap capital or making friends to interact if there is a good project

  6. I guess I'll still be alive in 2050 because I'm a Gen Z born in 2005 and sadly my parents won't be able to see this by but me unless they are in their 70's. Any how I'm excited to see what future holds for us especially jobs in technology.

  7. I want a small hover ball with an internal force engine that is silent and transparent and can materialise practically anything along with the ability to invent entertainment for you via everetts simulators finding you just the right experience..

  8. Maybe by 2050, we won't be focusing on creating humanoids for everyday use, instead, we'll be focusing on putting people inside of humanoid bodies. It'll start from Ai to robots, and then Synthetic Limbs will happen, before we'll start seeing people being changed into Synthetic People. Imagine having a life in a Synthetic body, and a vehicle that is also the house that can take you anywhere throughout the Galaxy.

Think about it. The first breakthroughs will be Ai and Robots, then the research will lead to Synthetic Limbs. From that point, we'll be changing organic humans into Synthetic Humans, and our government will become a single Ai. And then possibly living under the laws of an Ai as Synthetic beings that were once human. Giving machines no reason to revolt because there will be no humans left to revolt against.

  9. Advanced trains and prosthetics are likely technically feasible by 2050 but infrastructure and development costs mean the tech will spread slowly even with drivers like the climate crisis. You first need to phase out old infrastructure which doesn't happen as easily as just replacing a train. You have to rebuild the entire rail network.

I'm also skeptical about nanotech fashion as presented here. We already use nanoparticles in a lot of goods (paints, scratchproof surfaces, and solar cells to name a few) but there's nothing like clothes which grant "superpowers". I can see techwear for soldiers, police and firefighters who benefit from heat or impact resistant gear, but most regular people just want comfortable clothing. I mean how many of us own dirt resistant clothing despite them being technically feasible? Current fashion isn't even concerned with durability as it's not a driver for sales unlike quickly changing trends.

VR and augmented reality have both been "just around the corner" for past 30 years and have neither been politically accepted nor practical or desirable enough to make them into reality. For education VR would need to be cheap, easily mass produced, adopted by schools, students and teacher alike AND have someone create commercially viable software for them. It also needs to have other commercial uses (such as gaming, medical and scientific) to become both affordable and profitable. Not to mention who is gonna fund that all…

Holographic screens by 2050. Not gonna happen unless there's a massive breakthrough and subsequent adoption of the tech. Oh and let's not even get into mars colonies and affordable commercial space travel. Current commercial solutions can barely leave the earth for a few minutes. We would need an orbital space port, a moon space port/colony and then we can maybe sort of start dreaming about a real mars colony. Let's not forget that the highly optimistic (unrealistic if you ask from me) human mars mission is planning to have astronauts land (not live) on mars by 2033. Humans have landed first (and last) time to moon over 50 years ago and we don't have colonies even there yet. Mars is a much bigger hurdle to overcome.

Basically add at least 100 to 1000 years to any space colonization plans depending on if you mean "a dozen people in a close earth habitat or a city in space"
