Kotkin, If you were to just read and only read the publications of these eggheads alone and not a word more you would understand enough of Politics, Economics, Foreign Policy and the Hisory that it is anchored in to, to start doing things for ourselves and make this thing called 'Democracy' work, before it's taken away from us – a very real possibility now that countries like China have done so well but yet are still a Socialists Dictatorship. . As long as there are stupid people and most of us are stupid when it comes to politics [I include myself in this critisism] there are always going to be people in the know, exploiting our ignorance, making a quick buck, that's what corruption is, exactly how it works. We need to take it upon ourselves to change, anyone who thinks there's a political quick fix, or a special radical movement, or we can keep voting for 'the lesser of two evils' until the rightone comes along, our saviour! These naive, dogmatic idealists are the worst of all and are far likely to kill millions without leaving a single positive idea behind. 'Socialism' and 'Capitalism' are ideologies, anyone with half a brain is not interested in either. Universal Liberal Democracy is a very real thing with a very real provable history. It took hard work and struggles in the 19th and 20th century for Liberalism to first become universal and then democatic and it works but it only works if we hold corrupt people accountable and we can only do that by understanding how it is they are undermining the 'System' a very fair and just system which is sodden with xenaphobes, untalented work sherkers and people concerned with their reputation more so than these Liberal traditions.
